Delivery
Orders are delivered across Japan using third party delivery companies. Most packages are delivered by Sagawa Kyubin, but we also use Kuroneko Yamato and Seino Express in certain circumstances.
Delivery charges
The cost of delivery is based on your location and the size of the package required to ship your order.
Most packages will fall within the 1,000yen per package category for delivery within Honshu (mainland Japan). Hokkaido deliveries will be charged 2,000yen per package and Okinawa deliveries 3,000yen per package.
Very small orders that can be packed into our smallest box (up to a maximum of 1000 business cards, 1000 A6 flyers, or 500 postcards), will be charged at the lower rate of ¥500 (mainland Japan), ¥1,000 (Hokkaido), or ¥1,500 (Okinawa).
In some cases the very smallest orders (100 or 200 business cards etc) may be delivered using a mailbox delivery service (Nekopos) rather than standard signed delivery to your door.
For very large or bulky orders however, additional delivery charges may apply. All large-format poster orders for example are delivered rolled in tubes and are charged at a minimum of 2,000yen, regardless of delivery area.

The delivery costs will be calculated and confirmed with you after your order details have been checked.
Multiple delivery locations
For multiple delivery locations, a surcharge of ¥500 per location will be added, on top of each delivery fee, for a maximum of four delivery locations per order. Please contact us before ordering if you would like to ship to multiple locations and we can provide a quote.
Packaging
Your order will be first wrapped in protective brown paper or shrink-wrapped and then sealed in plain, cardboard boxes. The number of boxes required to package your order will depend on the size and volume of the product(s) ordered.
Delivery schedule and tracking
Delivery schedule
Delivery time is a minimum of 1 day after leaving the production hub. For delivery to Okinawa, Hokkaido or other far-flung locations, an additional 1-3 days is usually required. Please see individual products for further details or check out our delivery schedule map of Japan to see how your location affects the number of days required for delivery.
Requesting a time of day for delivery
Due to the late hour that packages leave the production hub, we are unable to request AM deliveries. Other time periods (12 noon-2pm, 2-4pm, 4-8pm, 6-9pm) we are able to request however but please note that it is only a request and as such, no promise or guarantee can be made. Many factors both foreseen and otherwise can prevent your package from arriving during the time-slot requested and, although the delivery company will do its best, there are no guarantees. Particularly during the peak seasons of Golden Week and New Year, specified times cannot be honoured. Mojoprint cannot be held responsible if your package does not arrive within the times requested and appreciate your understanding on this matter.
Tracking your order
When we ship your order it is given a unique tracking number, enabling you to track the progress of your delivery via the various third-party courier websites. Package numbers and courier details will be provided to you as part of our final confirmation email.
Payment options
During checkout, you will be prompted to select your preferred payment method from the following options:
Credit Card
Pay online with your credit card using the hassle-free Stripe payment gateway. We accept all major credit cards.
Once we can confirm your data is print-ready, we will issue an invoice by email for the full amount, including delivery. Simply click the green payment button at the top of the invoice to open the secure payment page. After confirmation of payment, the turnaround for your item will be confirmed and production can begin.
Note: Production on your order cannot commence until we have confirmed your payment.
PayPal
Pay online via PayPal using either your PayPal balance or a credit card. You do not need a PayPal account in order to pay by credit card. Once we can confirm your data is print-ready, we will issue an invoice by email for the full amount, including delivery. After confirmation of payment, the turnaround for your item will be calculated and production can begin.
Note: Production on your order cannot commence until we have confirmed your payment.
Bank transfer
Pay offline via (pre-paid) domestic bank transfer. We will send you an invoice for the full amount once we can confirm your data is print-ready. After confirmation of the transfer, the turnaround for your item will be calculated and production can begin. The transfer fee must be borne by the remitter.
Note: Production on your order cannot commence until we have confirmed the transfer. You may be asked to send us a copy of the transfer receipt to expedite the confirmation process for time sensitive orders.
International bank transfer
For international clients that are unable to pay via PayPal or Stripe, we also accept payment via (pre-paid) international bank transfer as a last resort. There are two ways to do this:
Method 1: Standard International Remittance We will send you an invoice by email for the full amount including delivery once we can confirm your data is print-ready. We charge an additional international transfer fee of ¥7,000 to cover the fees incurred on both ends of the transaction. When remitting the transfer, please charge all fees to us. After confirmation of the transfer (usually within 3-5 working days), the turnaround for your item will be calculated and production can begin.
Method 2: TransferWise Use the online bank transfer service TransferWise. You will need to have or make an account with them first. We will issue an invoice by email for the full amount including delivery once we can confirm your data is print-ready. Then simply follow the instructions to remit the payment to us via your TransferWise account. Since TransferWise uses local banks to fulfill the final part of the transaction, we do not need to charge any additional fees. After confirmation of the transfer (usually within 2-4 working days), the turnaround for your item will be calculated and production can begin.

Receipts
Online payment receipts
When paying for your order via PayPal or Stripe, you will receive an automated receipt of payment confirming the successful transaction against our invoice.
Bank transfer receipts
When making a payment by bank transfer, the transfer receipt you are issued with (or presented with on-screen for online transactions) is a legally recognized receipt and is accepted by the Tax Bureau.
Should you require a receipt issued by Mojoprint however, please send us this transfer receipt and we will happily exchange it. We are unable to make a new receipt without it as it would result in the issue of multiple receipts for the same goods.
